DARKEST DUNGEON 2 REVIEWS PC
But although always ungainly it doesn’t take long to get used to, and since the game is turn-based it doesn’t interfere with the gameplay. Hey there, this is my spoiler free, brutally honest review for Darkest Dungeon 2 after more than 100 hours played I reviewed this on my PC and if you're int. This whole game is a joke and a spit at DD fans: its release into early access only in the EGS, its bugs and an abundance of lags, freezes, mechanic nerfs, cut content from the first DD, simply because the developers began to spit on the players. not to be a brand loyalist or anything but its super disappointing that this isnt gonna be on steam, I feel like steam does a better job of getting your game. In the transferral to true roguelike, Darkest Dungeon 2 has got a little lost in the woods.

And although developer Red Hook has done their best, the awkward use of the shoulder buttons to highlight different menus is not well explained. Onward into the abyss to save these lands, these people, and yourself. It gives credence to the idea that your party must always, and unyieldingly travel forward. There is an extra issue for the console versions though, in that the original was designed with a mouse and keyboard in mind. The stagecoach addition adds a considerable size, a gravitas, to the world of Darkest Dungeon. The whole stress element is a great idea, and along with the fantastic presentation helps to hide the fact that in most other aspects the game doesn’t really do anything that new. The village is also the only element that you can guarantee will survive no matter how many of your team die, its expansion helping to improve the chances of their replacements. Its buildings can be upgraded with treasures you find in the dungeon, and from there heroes can be sent off on their own personal quest to gain new skills or remove other afflictions beyond just stress. Although resting in a dungeon can reduce some stress the only real way to recover is back at the nearby village.
